Rating Translations

Why Rate Translations?

Ratings help the entire community:

  • High-rated translations rise to the top when multiple versions exist
  • Low-rated translations signal potential issues (wrong dialect, poor audio)
  • Your ratings help other instructors make informed choices

Best Practices

For Quality Ratings

  • Rate translations you actually use in lessons
  • Be honest - thumbs down helps others avoid problems
  • Consider your dialect when rating

For Comments

  • Add dialect information that helps others
  • Be constructive, not critical
  • Suggest alternatives when pointing out issues
  • Share pronunciation tips

For Community Participation

  • Share high-quality translations (clear audio, standard dialect)
  • Rate community translations you encounter
  • Use comments to build a knowledge base
  • Respect different dialects and pronunciations

Troubleshooting

Can't Rate or Comment

  • You must be logged in as an instructor or admin
  • Some translations may be restricted (organization-only)

Comment Won't Save

  • Check character limit (2000 max)
  • Ensure text field is not empty

Ratings Don't Match Expectations

  • Ratings are from the entire community, not just your organization
  • Different dialects may have different views on "correct"

Translation Has No Ratings

  • It's new or not widely used yet
  • Be the first to rate it!
